The course of true love never did run smooth
California Ballet present their marvellously magical production of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Enter a beguiling realm as a plethora of fairy folk spin across the stage, setting the scene for this beloved tale comedy of warring hearts and mischievous spells, where mortals meet those of the dream world, creating a night that those caught in the crossfire will never forget!
First concieved as a ballet set to Felix Mendelosson's score for Shakespeare's play in 1962, A Midsummer Night's Dream is the perfecrt subject matter. Richly decorated costumes against the mysterious forest set create a symbotic background for the story. California Ballet's production is no different, offering a show that won't fail to delight audeinces of all ages!
