GREAT SHOW

What great concert! I could have watched him all night. He is such an excellent performer and kept the crowd in it the whole concert!

GREAT SHOW

Not sure what the reviewer above means, David came out at 8:10 and played 9 songs and then took a break and played the entire White Ladder album (to which most of the time the crowd was standing and singing along. He then covered Soft Cell's Tainted love, two songs from Bowie and brought it back home with the ending of Please Forgive me. Crowd went nuts. Came back for two songs on the encore. Great show, great venue (parking is a nightmare) and great crowd.

4 STAR PERFORMANCE, 2 STAR CROWD

The energy was weird. After a delay of over two hours because of weather..actually, after a delay of over two year because of Covid, and another two hours because of weather, the show finally got under way around 9:45. This lead to the set list being cut nearly in half. David played White Ladder start to finish, plus two greatest hits, plus two Bowie songs. The energy from the crowd was lacking, due partially to the weather and delay, the lack of songs to get everyone into the show, and the fact that it was Tuesday night. Gray and band were great despite him spending time trying to get the crowd on their feet. A greatest hits intro would have helped a lot. But by the time it finally got going, the 11 o’clock deadline loomed and it was over. David Gray is a great singer/song writer and puts on a good show, no matter what, but it could have been so much better
