Rising playwright Lindsey Ferrentino has already amassed an impressive body of thought-provoking work. Ugly Lies the Bone won her the prestigious Kesselring Prize in 2016, whole Tony winner Scott Ellis (The Elephant Man) is set to helm a production of her play Amy and the Orphans on Broadway in 2018.
Her latest work, which receives its world premiere at La Jolla, is The Year to Come. Yet another enthralling drama, it's centered on a Florida family whose get together every New Year's always casts their relationships in a new light.
