A GREAT SHOW WITH HEART
We caught the first performance last night and, wow! I can see this going to Broadway. There are enough nods to DDLJ to satisfy fans. This production succeeds in updating the source material while sticking to the original outline. The songs were good esp. Holi Hai & Party and Spend. The entire cast serves a wonderful show. There were tears at points where I was sitting-the emotional resonance is there just like in a Bollywood production. A great first show!

Awesome job by the cast and the crew performing a live action of the classic and incorporating Indian American culture while not losing the essence of the story. Definitely would see it again!!

COME FALL IN LOVE DDLJ
DDLJ musical was so much fun 🤩 Directed by the director of the original movie. Movie adaptation but original songs and dance . I was doubtful abut White SRK ? But he was very impressive in song dance acting so as simran from Boston . Everyone was too good in acting. Kuljeet and even mom of Raj was too good . Good writing and stage design. I can watch it again . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS
This is a Broadway level musical, the first of its kind to bring Bollywood to Broadway. The musical is a wonderful Broadway adaptation of an iconic Bollywood classic. Same plot but modernized for the 2020s with the right adaption of the storyline, setting, and characters. Vishal D’s fresh musical score, AC’s theatric vision, the Broadway level talent of all characters, and foot stomping choreography exceed all expectations. I’m so glad I got to experience this event.
