"A great pop act!"

Why See Foster the People?

A new album to heat up Summer 2017!

The indie pop pedallers of sun drenched Californian cool tour their brand new album, Lotus Eater. Buoyed by the success of 2010's super viral super smash hit, 'Pumped up Kicks', Foster the People head quickly became the sound of the summer, and followed up that success with 2014's sophomore album 'Supermodel'. Catch their unique dance infused pop and beaming melodies when they hit Birch North Park Theatre in San Diego , CA Closed May 26, 2017

Formed in 2009 after being jaded by Los Angeles, Grammy nominated Foster the People are Mark Foster and Mark Pontius - bassist Cubbie Fink left the band in 2015. The online buzz that surrounded their first album led to gigs at South By Southwest, Cochella and around the country. With that perfect dreamy hipster sentimentality and dance beats, they inhabit 'cool' like no one else.

With the release of their second album 'Supermodel' Foster promised a more organic and human edge, and delivered a delightfully noir inspired record, with shades of Talking Heads, Flaming Lips and Vampire Weekend. Back on the road now for 2017 and with a new album too, Foster the People will ensure every show serves up a gleaming slice of summer!
