Why See Ride?

I Want To Ride My Bicycle

Following a much lauded run in London, San Diego sees the American premiere of Ride, a new musical telling the inspiring story of cyclist Annie Londonderry! In the late 19th Century the courageous Annie faces up to a huge challenge: can a woman cycle around the whole world? But perhaps more importantly, does it matter that she's only even been on a bicycle a grand total of twice?

Garnering glowing reviews during its 2022 debut, the show's much anticipated Stateside premiere is directed by Sarah Meadows. The book is by Freya Catrin Smith, with music and lyrics by Smith and Jack Williams; witness for yourself why this new musical has captured the hearts of the UK!
