The Lorax

The Lorax at Old Globe Theater

Why see The Lorax?

Olivier Award Nominee

Following its acclaimed run on London's West End, this magical version of the Dr. Seuss story comes to The Old Globe. Specially adapted for the stage by David Greig, The Lorax is a witty and fast-moving tale, with an important message about caring for the environment. The story focuses on The Lorax himself, a forest-dwelling creature with a big, bushy moustache, who must save his home after a company begins to cut down all the trees.

First published in 1971, The Lorax has become of Dr. Seuss' most famous creations, and was even adapted into an animated movie in 2012, with Danny DeVito starring as the voice of the eponymous character.
