When J.M. Barrie named his characters John, Wendy and Michael Darling, he must have known that someday they would star in a darling little ballet like this.

And away we go to the Neverland.....! San Diego's California Ballet Company kicks off their 2017 season with a magical adaptation of J.M Barrie's iconic novel, Peter Pan. Choreographed by former Washington Ballet artistic director Septime Weber, this exciting, swashbuckling adventure marks its West Coast premiere when it lands at the Civic Center in March. Follow the adventures of Wendy and her brothers as they are whisked away to a magical new land by a cheeky youth in green, learning about their true selves along the way.
First premiering at the Washington Ballet in 2014, this vibrant and lively re-telling of the childhood classic explores growing up through the unique medium of dance. All characters are involved, combining different dance styles and fighting moves as Pan leads the battle against Hook and his motley crew of pirates, with Indians and mermaids appearing along the way. A fantastic first ballet for younger fans, experience the magic of Peter Pan as you've never seen before.
