Experimenting with multiple genres over the decades, their wide-ranging sound has flourished in a variety of styles, from acoustic ballads to experimental rock. Whilst they may reinvent themselves constantly, their definitive fusion of Latin and American music remains at the creative core.

Designed for philanthropist John Spreckles, who played a major role in making San Diego the bustling cosmopolitan city it is today, the Spreckles Theatre has remained in constant operation for over 80 years. It was originally built to commemorate the opening of the panama canal, and was designated a National Historic Site in 1973.
