Ed Sheeran To Embark On A US Tour
Ed is pressing PLAY across the US!
The British hitmaker is back with a US tour to celebrate the release of his eighth studio album! Sheeran's new record Play, which dropped on 12 September 2025, finds him back in the spotlight after a couple of quieter years. His last two albums, Subtract and Autumn Variations, were deeply personal touching on the loss of his friend Jamal Edwards and his wife Cherry's health struggles. With Play, Ed has shifted gears, chasing joy, colour, and an international sound.

The album takes inspiration from his travels, especially his time in India earlier this year. Sitars, tablas, Kashmiri santoors, and South Indian percussion are all woven into his trademark acoustic-pop. Standout moments include Symmetry, driven by Gujarati drums, and Sapphire, a stunning duet with Indian superstar Arijit Singh sung in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Ed even travelled to Singh's hometown to perfect his delivery.

But while the global touches give the record some sparkle, don't expect Ed to completely abandon the pop playbook. Expect a setlist that weaves Play's technicoloured new tracks with the mega-hits that have sold out stadiums across the globe. From Sapphire to Shape of You, Camera to Castle on the Hill, this US tour promises to be a celebration of Sheeran's journey so far - and a reminder of why he remains one of the biggest singer-songwriters on the planet.
