RIDE MUSICAL
The costumes and scenic design are excellent, the music and songs not so much. I had a lot of trouble understanding Annie, both in dialogue as in song. The story was an effort to follow. On the contrary, Martha’s voice was loud and clear. I think she saved the production. Would not recommend.

MIXED REVIEW
Talented actresses, excellent music, good sets and yet… I did not enjoy it. The experience for me was significantly less than the sum of the parts. It was extremely popular, the audience loved it, so take that into account. It was frenetic for the first 40 minutes in its pacing, the lead actress was difficult to understand when singing (both had spectacular voices), and her character was so headstrong and pushy that frankly I just didn’t like who she was. The production was terrific and yet I would have left had there been an intermission.
